Ok, so the Resident Evil 5 demo is out now in Japan on the Xbox Live Marketplace...but you want it now.

To get the demo (or any other demo created only for Japan) you must create a Japanese Xbox Live account on passport.net and then create a new profile on your xbox for that japanese account. YOU MUST HAVE XBOX LIVE GOLD TO DL THIS DEMO. once your have your account set up...go to the games marketplace and look for BIOHAZARD 5. there you go.

Mirror's Edge DLC coming in January

DailyGame is reporting that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Mirror’s Edge will be getting some DLC late January.

Here's a quote:

"PS3 and Xbox 360 owners will get their first taste of new Mirror’s Edge Time Trial modes in late January as DICE releases nine races across seven all-new Time Trial maps. These new maps will have no guns, no cops and no city. They’re all about agility. The Mirror’s Edge DLC pack will be available for $10 on PS3 or 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360. However — here’s the PS3 kicker — all PlayStation 3 Mirror’s Edge fans will be able to download an additional map for free."

I'm pretty excited, but they should start putting out this content closer to when the game comes out so that you aren't completely done with the game by the time it hits PSN & XBL.

DSi available online

The new Nintendo DSi is available online from play-asia.com. It runs at US$249. I will be picking one of these up and there will be an unboxing video.

I just stumbled upon this Dreamcast PC and know wanna try to make but probably never will.

A company in japan called Akiba PC made this wonderful machine. What better to do with a old Dreamcast? Right?

This machine sports a Sony NEC Blu-ray drive, an AMD mini-ITX mainboard with 780G Chipset and ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics, HDMI output, 4GB RAM and 160GB storage. I thought that the four USB ports (previously the console's controller ports) were a particularly nice touch. Manufactured for ¥100,000 (roughly $1,045). Make this and get a Dreamcast emulator so u can still play some good ol' shenmue and your set.

Metal Slug 7

Metal Slug 7 is coming out on Xbox Live Arcade some time in 2009. I can't find a set date but hopefully early in 2009. It is already out for DS and I've heard there is no multiplayer so I'm waiting out for the Xbox release. Hopefully the xbox release will have multiplayer. Being on the xbox im pretty sure it will.

400GB Blu-ray discs

Pioneer announced that they will be releasing 400GB Blu-ray discs (which is 350GB larger than the current Blu-ray maximum).

Best News:
-The discs will be available in 2010.
-The discs will be playable on the PS3.
-Rewritable discs are also in development.
